Ana Koepke
CO-FOUNDER
My goal as President/Co-Founder of WITT is to reach as many struggling, high-risk youths in our communities and set them up for a successful future. With the help of our sponsors, donations, and volunteers, we will be able to provide not only the financial support but, most importantly, the motivational support they need.
I have the honor to work hand in hand with so many exceptional children who, unfortunately, have many hardships.
My journey began over six years ago when I became a volunteer at the Denver Children’s Home. They have helped countless kids faced with traumas, neglect, and mental health challenges.
It was not long before I knew I had to do more than volunteer through my employer at the time, and that is when Ana and Friends were born.
Ana and Friends is a volunteer group I started for the Denver Children’s Home. And from that, we have had over 100 volunteers and sponsors over the years. What began with monthly donor meals grew into annual Christmas parties, field days, and so much more.
We will continue to provide donor meals and resources like school supplies and focus more on those that are transitioning into the real world by providing scholarships, assistance with job and school applications, and mentoring programs.
I have witnessed firsthand the impact we can make when we come together and show up. With your help, we can impact the lives of our youth across the world.

Sam Fujiwara
BOARD MEMBER
As a member of WITT, my goal is to help as many young kids in our community as possible that have suffered from some sort of loss or hardship. We want to show them that there are different paths to choose from and opportunities to succeed. With hard work and determination, we can help them see that their past doesn’t have to dictate their future, and with the help of your generous donations and sponsorships, we'll be able to offer much needed financial assistance and growth programs for our young adults. Most importantly, we'll be able to consistently show them the love and compassion they’ve struggled to get elsewhere. Our goal is to build confidence within these kids to be the best version of themselves possible.
Over the past 6 years I’ve been lucky enough to have been a part of “Ana and Friends,” the original volunteer group which gave rise to WITT. We spent most of our time at the Denver Children’s Home working with kids who came from neglect, abuse, and mental health issues, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.
Through multiple activities, vision boards, and hundreds of home cooked meals made possible by our staff; we've found different ways to interact with each youth individually to help show them compassion, unconditional friendships, and the love they've all been missing. We want to make an impact by mentoring and being present, and making the transition from leaving the Children’s Home to entering the "real" world as seamless as possible.
Please help me and this amazing organization in our crusade to offer scholarships, school supplies, and hygiene items to support these at-risk kids, while finding new opportunities and challenges to make them strong and confident! I think you'll agree, it's something every child deserves.
